House Rules for Animals: Limit of 2 dogs w/ total weight of 80 lbs. Non-returnable $200 pet deposit applies. Dogs must be up to date on ALL shots/ vaccines, and on a flea & tick regiment. Strict NO-cat policy and no family pets on any furnishings or beds. Family Pets must be disclosed at time of booking. Home does not include a crate -- please bring one, if needed. This can provide comfort to your pet while you are out appreciating the beach or town, as well as protect the home from any possible damage.

Parking at the condo is always COMPLIMENTARY, and you’re just steps from the beach — no need to pay for beach access parking!

FYI: As of January 10, 2023, Oak Island has implemented paid parking at beach access points from April 1 to September 30, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

  • Book your vacation home as soon as possible. Rental schedules often open 12 months in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many families book their Summer rentals during Winter holiday gatherings. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • To find the best value, change your vacation week to the Spring or Fall months. May, September, and October offer warmer temperatures, fewer crowds, and greatly reduced traffic. Trip insurance, which generally will cost anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed time as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather, as well as evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel or extra fuel expenses. Trip insurance might be a a life-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your host for additional information.

  • Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Local residents can typically help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to get the best seafood, have a great night out, or the best spots for crabbing?
  • Don't leave anything behind! Before you drive away, take a walk through the rental property to confirm you've collected everything. Re-check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden items. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Go through the rental one final time and look for any damage. We advise walking through with the host whenever you can. If the manager is not available, remember to take pictures of the rental to record its condition.
  • Did your group have a wonderful vacation? Many vacation rental websites make it easy for guests to provide reviews. If your property and/or property management company was fantastic, they always love to hear your praise. If anything was defective and they failed to fix it within reason, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make a note as part of your review.
