This enchanting home is located on a side street, off the beaten path, with vistas of both the ocean and the golf course. Recently modernized with a redesigned kitchen, new bathrooms and handsome new floors.
The cavernous master suite has a king bed and adjoining bathroom. A second master upstairs has a king bed and a gorgeous view of the 9th fairway. From the attached covered porch you can see past Swan Quarter to the ocean in the distance.
The third bedroom, considered the kids room, contains a pair of bunk beds. The additional room is a combination office suite by day and a bedroom by nighttime with a pullout bed that doubles as a couch. For those who can't leave work at home, there's a desk and work area. The outside has it all - screened porch, covered porch and open deck for sunbathing.

When to visit Bald Head Island & When to book:

  • Book your vacation home as early as possible. Rental schedules often become available a year in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many groups reserve their Summer rental homes during Winter holiday get-togethers. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • Summertime is high season in Bald Head Island. To get the largest vacation home within your budget, we strongly suggest reserving in Fall or Spring. You'll benefit from lower rental rates, greater selection, gorgeous weather and the absence of giant crowds at Southport restaurants, beaches, and activities. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Southport vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday on the coast? Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with friends and family at the beach.
  • Some hosts offer discounts for active duty military and veterans. Remember to ask your property manager if special offers are available for your family.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners usually offer renters an option to purchase trip insurance. Trip insurance, which commonly costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed vacation time as a result of medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel stay or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask the property owner for additional information.

  • Lock your rental property while you're gone! Don't let crooks ruin your trip.
  • To make sure damages are not attributed to your visit, inspect the rental for any problem areas during arrival. Get in touch with the rental manager immediately to relay any pre-existing damages. If there is a dispute about legal responsibility later, having a record of problems and contact attempts will be valuable.
  • Be respectful. Often, surrounding homes are filled by local residents. Respecting noise limits and parking regulations is the right thing to do.
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Local residents can often help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to book the best tours, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for shopping?
  • Double-check the vacation property to confirm that you've packed everything on check-out day. Remember to check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden items. Clean out the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Walk through the property one final time and keep an eye out for damage. We suggest walking through with the host whenever possible. If the host isn't available, ensure that you take photographs of the property to record its condition at check-out.
  • Remember to leave feedback! Hosts rely on great ratings to compel new bookings. They'll be grateful for your feedback. Alternatively, if something wasn't as described, other vacationers will will be grateful for your feedback and help them have the best future vacation. Be fair with your review.
