If you want to get some fresh air and exercise, use the supplied bicycles to discover the island and discover it's beauty.
If you bring a boat, there's plenty of room to park. You are welcome to use the lockable garage to secure your fishing gear overnight, and there is a drop cord and electrical outlet outside to charge your batteries.

Self-check-in with keyless entry. Work or play using the high-speed wireless internet, or spend a day on the beach with complimentary beach chairs and beach toys!

Oak Island is a low-key place to relax and savor time away from the hustle and bustle. The neighborhood is peaceful, and just three blocks to direct beach access. Most of the homes in the area are full-time residents, and everybody here is very welcoming and friendly!

We are just 15 min. drive from historic Southport, where "Safe Haven" and other films were based.

There are multiple ocean-front eateries on the island, and plenty to do, including golf, putt-putt & arcade, skydiving, and more. Go shopping or drop your boat in for a day of fishing at one of the boat launches on the island.

Walking or cycling is a great way to get fresh air and a little exercise at the same time. There are tons of eateries, stores and shopping within a 5-8 min. walk. If you want to discover a little further, driving works well, or call a taxi or an Uber on the island.

This apartment is located in Long Beach, a neighborhood in Oak Island. Bald Head Island Lighthouse and Old Brunswick County Jail Museum are local landmarks, and the area's natural beauty can be seen at Kure Beach and Caswell Beach. North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher and Bald Head Island Information Center are also worth visiting.

You'll enjoy lower rental rates, better selection, beautiful weather and the absence of giant crowds at the beach and popular Southport attractions. Many vacationers use this strategy to reserve larger homes, or to book a beach front rental that would otherwise be unavailable during the Summer.
  • The sooner you can book a rental home, the easier your search will be. The best vacation homes are booked very early. Booking your rental home 6-12 months before your vacation is recommended.
