Vistas, VIEWS, VIEWS of the Atlantic will mesmerize you from Ocean’s 11-a second-row executive property idyllically located on Bald Head Island. This four bedroom, 4.5 bath reverse-floor-plan home greets you with a deep beach-facing front porch that not only grants hours of salty-breeze rocking enjoyment but also renders a enchanting conversation space. Inside, the bottom floor opens onto a sizable front hall and homes three suites. The first King suite charms with its handsome bayed front windows overlooking the front porch and housing a pretty
ensuite bath. The second, a bunk room with four constructed-in bunk beds (two Fulls and two Twins), also harbors a full bath. The corner King Master is bathed in natural light through its three walls of windows and delights with private porch access, a desk area and an indulgent spa-like
ensuite. This level also provides access to a peaceful, shaded back grilling deck and the laundry. As you traverse up the stairs, you’ll appreciate this home’s modern industrial touches-including corrugated aluminum stair risers, wainscoting and stainless pipe stair rails. Round the corner at the top of the stairs and the second floor’s mammoth open living/dining space astounds with its soaring ceilings, shining seascapes from every angle-through loads of windows and doors-and exceptional spaciousness. You can choose to dine inside at the generous bespoke table enveloped by charming vistas or al fresco on the oversize dining/sun deck featuring enchanting ocean panoramas. An eleven foot granite island anchors the giant kitchen and offers breakfast bar seating as well as space for multiple chefs. You’ll also find high-end stainless appliances here as well as a wine cooler, a wet bar, an ice maker and comfortable seating for conversing during snack or meal prep. Barn doors beyond this area reveal a comfortable living space, ideal for family movie-watching or games. The detached crofter proffers a very private fourth bedroom furnished with two twins and featuring another full bath. Centrally located on the Island near stores and the Conservancy, between the two Clubs, and steps from the beach, you won’t be able to beat a vacation at Ocean’s 11!

Tips to get the perfect Southport rental experience:

Cost saving strategies:

  • The sooner you can reserve a vacation home, the easier your search will be. The most desirable vacation rentals are reserved early. Reserving your rental up to 12 months before your vacation is recommended. Holidays such as Christmas and Thanksgiving are excellent times to plan and reserve your rental home.
  • To book the most suitable rental within your budget, we suggest booking in Fall or Spring. You'll benefit from lower rates, better selection, warm weather and the absence of large crowds at your favorite Southport restaurants and activities.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property management company or host if your family qualifies for a reduced rate.
  • Property managers usually offer guests an option to purchase trip insurance. Trip insurance, which normally costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed vacation time as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or additional fuel expenses. Trip insurance might be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your host for more information.
  • Find a copy of your local Southport visitors guide upon arrival. If your rental doesn't have one, you can find them at local grocery stores and visitor centers. In addition to great articles, visitor guide magazines have deals for local tours and attractions.

How to pick the perfect rental:

  • Select a group lead, select your trip dates, and select a budget.
  • Determine how many beds and what type of bedroom configuration your group needs. Views, VIEWS, VIEWS of the Atlantic will mesmerize you from Ocean’s 11! has 4 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our search.
  • Specific information regarding bedrooms and bed sizes & counts is often accessible online. Otherwise, call the host before booking your rental. Remember that most properties list the max. guest capacity, which often includes pull-out couches and bunk beds. You will need to establish what is optimal for your trip.
  • If your family is bringing pets, filter your search for a pet-friendly vacation rental. Get details on breed, weight, and type restrictions. Note that some property managers charge additional pet fees.
  • Are you visiting for a single attraction? Try a map search to browse nearby properties.
  • Suitable accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for persons with disabilities. Make certain to ask about wheel chair entry, pool lifts and specialized equipment needs.

Have a fantastic stay:

  • Review check in & check out procedures before traveling. Save the instructions to your phone, and take a printed backup.
  • Ask questions. You may want instructions for a garage door opener, television set or coffee maker. Contact your property manager. They are there to help! A brief call can prevent lots of concerns.
  • Ensure you protect the owner (and your things!) by locking the property while you are away, just like you would back home.
  • During check-in, record any issues with the property and immediately alert the host. Record all coorespondence.
  • Don't forget to respect your neighbors. Often times, nearby homes are occupied by permanent residents. Respecting quiet hours and parking policies can make a stay significantly more pleasurable.
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Local residents can frequently point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to find the fresh catch of the day, have a great night out, or the best spots for fishing?
  • Don't leave anything behind! Before departing, take a walk through the rental property to reconfirm you've collected all of your things. Re-check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden items. Clean out the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Inspect the property one final time and scan for damage. We advise inspecting the property with the property manager whenever you can. If the manager is not available, take video of the property to record its condition.
  • Did your group have a excellent stay? Most rental home management companies make it easy for travelers to provide reviews. If your rental property and/or host was wonderful, they will likely appreciate your kind words. If anything was imperfect and they failed to correct it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make it a point as part of your comments.
