Appreciate your OKI vacation in this extraordinary 4 bedroom, 3 bath home!! Located in the heart of Oak Island, just a short walk to multiple area eateries and stores and three blocks (8-10 min. walk) from the beach. This home includes a completely private, ground-floor studio apartment, ideal for the parents or couples!

Prepare gourmet meals in the home's striking, well-outfitted kitchen with bespoke cabinets and granite countertops.



Savor the sounds of birds and the ocean while you grille or relax in the covered breezeway.



If you want to get some fresh air and exercise, use the supplied bicycles to discover the island and discover it's beauty.

If you bring a boat, there's plenty of room to park. You are welcome to use the lockable garage to secure your fishing gear overnight, and there is a drop cord and electrical outlet outside to charge your batteries.



The 4th bedroom is a ground-floor, private, studio apartment with its own keypad entry. This is ideal for the grandparents or a place where a couple can have a little privacy of their own.



Self-check-in with keyless entry. Work or play using the high-speed wireless internet, or spend a day on the beach with complimentary beach chairs!



Access to entire home and ground-floor in-law/guest suite. Full access to the yard and patio areas.



As your host, we are committed to exceeding your expectation for an delightful stay in enchanting Oak Island. We are very responsive and always available to help with any questions or issues that may arise.



Oak Island is a low-key place to relax and appreciate time away from the hustle and bustle. The neighborhood is peaceful, and just three blocks to direct beach access. Most of the homes in the area are full-time residents, and everybody here is very welcoming and friendly!



We are just 15 min. drive from historic Southport, where "Safe Haven" and other films were based.



There are multiple ocean-front eateries on the island, and plenty to do, including golf, putt-putt & arcade, skydiving, and more. Go shopping or drop your boat in for a day of fishing at one of the boat launches on the island.



Walking or cycling is a great way to get fresh air and a little exercise at the same time. There are tons of eateries, stores and shopping within a 5-8 min. walk. If you want to discover a little further, driving works well, or call a taxi or an Uber on the island.



FAMILY PETS

Family Animals are welcome!! There is a non-returnable pet fee of $75 that covers up to 2 (two) dogs, max size 60 lbs.

**Note: For the sake of guests in the lower unit, please do not bring dogs that are prone to barking.



LINENS

Linens (sheets, towels, and washcloths) are supplied complimentary of charge!



TECHNOLOGY:

- Intelligent TVs are supplied in all bedrooms with access to Netflix/Hulu, etc. Simply sign into your own account.

- High-Speed Wifi is included.

- A washer/dryer is available for your use (complimentary) in the laundry room.



HEATING/COOLING

Central heating & AC is included. Guests may adjust the thermostat to their liking.



PARKING:

Parking is available in the driveway for up to FOUR cars.

Additional cars can park along the street as needed. Always keep your car locked at all times.



DESKS/WORK AREA:

A modest desk area is located in living room area for travelers who require workspace; guests would simply need to bring their own computer to plug in. WiFi is supplied.



SOUNDS:

While here, you may hear:

- Ocean waves

- Construction Noise during the daytime

We have supplied sound machines in case any of these noises are bothersome for light sleepers.



SAFETY NOTES:

1. This home is NOT infant-proofed. (I do not have outlet blockers, no furnishings is strapped to walls, stairs do not have gates, there are no safety locks on cabinets, etc.) Some windows are low to the ground where curious kids could comfortably get out. Kids must be accompanied by adults at all times, and guests are responsible for the safety of their kids.

2. Guest are required to climb a full flight of stairs to get into the unit.



FIRE PIT

Guests are welcome to use the fire pit. Please plan to bring or supply your own firewood.



SECURITY CAMERA

A floodlight camera is located at the front of the home for safety of all guests.



While we do tend to be a “hands off” host, we will be available via messaging/phone should you need anything.
