Welcome to Crosswinds Cottage????

Handsomely remodeled beach bungalow with private pool located on a peaceful garden lined (minimum traffic) street, 4 homes from a direct beach access and a short walk to the center of town, eateries, and fun!! Come relax with us and savor your stay.
The bungalow has an open floor plan, tall ceilings and a warm costal farmhouse feel.
New to 2022, is a handsome bespoke kitchen, with generous timeless touches, and island seating for entertaining!!!
Four bedrooms and three and a half baths that sleeps 8 comfortably. Appreciate a sun filled day on the beach and a calming evening dining and relaxing at your private pool located in the backyard, its also gated for safety and fenced for privacy, there are plenty of lounge chairs and patio set for dinning. An out door shower bath area where you can conveniently rinse off the sand before you hit the pool or entering the bungalow. Plenty of rockers for front porch sitting under the cooling fans, while listening to the crashing waves. (Stairs are gated for safety) There's fun swings for your little ones, and a regulation NBA basketball goal on concreat for those sport enthusiasts.

About the Area

Located in Ocean Isle Beach, this cottage is near the beach. While the natural beauty of Ocean Isle Beach and Holden Beach can be enjoyed by anyone, those looking for an activity can check out Cherry Grove Pier.
Museum of Coastal Carolina and Ingram Planetarium are also worth visiting. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.

Find your perfect vacation home:

  • Summer months are the most expensive season in Ocean Isle Beach. Booking your vacation home in Spring or Fall is our best tip for saving money on your vacation home. Rates are lower, and you'll find a larger selection of acceptable properties. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to book an oceanfront vacation rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during the high season. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Southport vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday on the coast? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with family and friends at your favorite beach.
  • Reserve your vacation rental as early as possible. Rental schedules usually become available twelve months in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many groups book their Summer rental homes during Christmas and Thanksgiving gatherings. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property owner if your vacationing group qualifies for a discount.
  • Booking websites frequently offer guests an option to add vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed vacation time as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel or additional gasoline expenses.   • Don't forget to... Ask a local! Local residents can frequently help. Who better to ask where to find the fresh catch of the day, have a great night out, or the best spots for fine dining?
  • Keep your rental home locked while you're gone! Don't let burglars spoil your family vacation.
  • Double-check every room of the property to confirm that you've packed all personal items at check-out. Re-check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden treasure. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Record a video to document the condition of the property.
