Stay at "American Dreaming" and check off all of your vacation boxes! Sit by the firepit in our fenced backyard and listen to the sounds of the crashing waves, which are 1 block down the street. Head down to the beach during the day and cool off in our private stock tank pool while your kids play ping pong in the gameroom. Appreciate a short 10 min. drive down to Southport to catch a ferry or sit on the water and have a marvelous dinner!

Long Beach, a neighborhood in Oak Island, is home to this vacation home. Oak Island Lighthouse and Bald Head Island Lighthouse are local landmarks, and the area's natural beauty can be seen at Caswell Beach and Bay Beach. Bald Head Island Information Center and North Carolina Maritime Museum at Southport are also worth visiting.

  • Book your vacation home as soon as possible. Rental schedules usually become available a year in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many groups reserve their Summer vacation rentals during Thanksgiving and Christmas get-togethers. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months in coastal NC. To book the largest rental home within your budget, we strongly suggest reserving in Fall or Spring months.
