Oceanfront home, with heated pool 6 BR, 5 B. Main floor: BD1 – K, BD2 – Q, 2nd floor: BD3 – Q & T, BD4 – bunkbeds 2F & 2T, BD5 – K, BD6 – K. This handsome one of a kind home is designed to capture the striking vistas of the ocean and sunsets, and provides a ideal setting for a family beach vacation. Superb waterfront location provides direct, private beach access. Elevator to the main floor. Gourmet kitchen with drip coffee maker, blender, crock pot, tea kettle, and toaster. There is a washer / dryer, 2 fridges (1 kitchen, 1 garage), 7 cable TVs, wireless high-speed internet. Covered and open decks with porch furnishings, including rockers, 3 enclosed outside showers, gas grille, EV charger and more!

Rental Rules:

Absolutely no weddings, wedding affiliated units, family get-togethers, multi-home units or home events. Should any occur on the premises, occupancy will be terminated without refund or return of deposit

Smoking is NOT allowed anywhere within the property. Should smoking occur on the premises, occupancy will be terminated without refund or return of deposit

Animals are NOT allowed. If a pet is discovered on the premises, occupancy will be terminated without refund or return of deposit

No refunds will be given for storms or inclement weather. We encourage all renters to purchase traveler insurance. If state or local authorities order a mandatory evacuation of any kind that includes the premises, tenant shall comply with the order

There are outdoor security cameras that are stringently used for the safety of the property and to notify us of trespassers. Do not modify or unplug the cameras

DO NOT open windows or leave doors open. Humidity damages the home and makes renter stay uncomfortable. Owner receives alerts from humidity alarms when windows and doors are left open. Renters will be notified immediately to remediate. If alerts persist, damage deposit will not be returned

No fireworks or firearms are allowed on the property. If either are found on the premises, occupancy will be terminated without refund or return of deposit

Any reservations obtained under false pretense will be subject to forfeiture of advance payment, deposit, and/or rental money, and the event will not be allowed to check-in. Occupancy will be terminated without refund or return of deposit for guests who have already checked-in and are found to have used the premises under false pretenses and may be subject to further legal action to recoup costs which exceed the amount of the deposit.

In the peak season (Memorial Day- Labor Day), we provide all bed linens, 1 set of towels per person (1 set includes 1 body towel, 1 hand towel, and 1 wash cloth), and a kitchen towel. In the off-season, linens and towels are an optional fee at the time of booking. We provide a basic starter pack of essentials for your first day including a roll of toilet paper in each restroom, hand soap, a roll of paper towels, and a trash can liner. (Last min. bookings: We need at least 24hr notice in order to provide linens)

While we do provide some items to get you started, here is a list of a few other things we want to remind you to bring:

We cannot guarantee the elevator will be working due to circumstances out of our control. Please read elevator instructions CAREFULLY before operating (found in notebook). User error will result in a service charge. No kids allowed in elevator unsupervised. Use at your own risk.

**Please be aware that there is an exterior security camera located on the premises directed towards parking area and/or entrances for added security and tranquility of mind.**

*Renters do not have access to garage area on the right side, underneath the home.

The pool is open year round, however, the pool heater will only heat the pool when the average air temperatures are somewhere around 55-60 degrees. The heater typically keeps the pool water between 80-85 degrees April - Oct depending on air temperatures. There is no additional cost to heat the pool, but we can not guarantee the pool water temperatures due to the dependency of the air temperatures.

About the Area

Located in Ocean Isle Beach, this vacation home is on the beach. Rees Jones Golf Course and Leopard's Chase Golf Club are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those looking for area attractions can visit Museum of Coastal Carolina and Ingram Planetarium. Planet Fun and Tribal Island are also worth visiting. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.

Strategies for getting the perfect vacation home experience:

Get the best rental value:

  • Book your vacation rental as early as possible. Rental schedules usually become available a year in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many groups reserve their Summer rentals during Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Eve gatherings. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • Booking a rental in the Spring or Fall is our favorite way to save money on your vacation. Rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of desirable homes. Many vacationers use this method to find larger homes within budget, or to reserve an oceanfront vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable during the Summer months.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective host whether your family qualifies for a reduced rate.
  • Booking websites usually offer customers an option to buy vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which will generally cost anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed time as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel or extra gasoline expenses. Trip insurance can be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask the property owner for additional information.
  • Often, rental management companies supply Southport area travel guide magazines which include special deals, either offered directly by local businesses, or by way of a relationship between the property management company and the business itself. You can also find Southport visitors guide and coupon books at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers.

  • To start, have your group choose dates and a max budget.

  • Precise details about bedrooms and bed counts is usually accessible on booking websites. If they are not listed, contact the property manager before booking the vacation home. Remember that most properties list maximum guest capacity, which oftentimes includes sofa beds. You'll need to determine what configuration is optimal for your group.
  • Do your family pets travel with you? Many vacation homes allow animals, but guidelines and restrictions apply. Type of pet, size and breeds may be limited. Ask your host before booking, and study your agreement! Extra fees or charges could be applied to your contract.
  • If there's a specific Southport destination you crave, look for rentals that are either close by, or those that cater especially to your requirements.
  • Appropriate accessibility can make or break a vacation for the less-mobile. Confirm all required amenities are available before reserving a rental.

Considerations for your stay:

  • Add the owner's information to your phone. Take a copy of arrival/departure procedures.
  • Ask questions. You may want instructions for a garage door opener, television set or appliance. Contact your property manager. They are there to help! A brief telephone call can prevent quite a few difficulties.
  • Protect the rental owner (and your stuff!) by locking the property when you are gone, just like you would at home.
  • Document any issues with the property during check in, and immediately send them to the owner. We specifically recommend texts and e-mails, as they usually contain time stamps that can be very helpful if there is a dispute.
  • Respecting quiet hours and parking regulations can make a stay more pleasurable. Be a good neighbor. You will increase your chance to make local friends, and resident neighbors are usually a terrific resource to find the best local beaches and restaurants.
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Local residents can often help. Who better to ask where to launch your kayaks, have a great night out, or the best spots for fine dining?
  • Double-check the rental property to make sure that you've packed all of your family's items at check-out. Make sure to check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden treasure. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Go through the rental one final time and keep an eye out for any damage. We advise inspecting the property with the property manager whenever possible. If the host is not available, remember to take video of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
  • Did your group have a wonderful vacation? Most rental managers make it easy for customers to provide comments. If your property and/or property manager was wonderful, they would love to hear about it. If anything was imperfect and they failed to address it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make a note as part of your comments.
