LOCATION / LOCATION / LOCATION !!!

The home is located at the West end of the Island where it is less busy and more private. If you want a wide, clean, pristine, relaxing beach that gives your family space, away from the hordes at high tide, then you are going to LOVE staying at this location in Holden Beach!!! Also, there is little traffic on the main road at this end of the Island, so it is more calming and more peaceful at nighttime.

Give your family memories of a vacation on the ocean in this peaceful, calming and striking coastal oceanside bungalow. Nice wide beach, even at high tide, unlike other areas on NC Islands due to erosion!

The Photo of the Beach with the Green umbrella was taken in front of our home in April when the Island is especially peaceful!

PLEASE CONTACT OWNER HERE BEFORE' SUBMITTING ANY RESERVATION REQUEST 'IF' YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS!!!
OWNER ALSO WANTS TO BE SURE TO ANSWER ALL YOUR QUESTIONS FIRST.

Tips and Tricks for getting the perfect Southport rental experience:

When to visit & When to book:

  • Book your rental as early as possible. Rental schedules usually open a year in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many groups reserve their Summer rental homes during holiday gatherings. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • Reserve your Southport rental property in Spring or Fall to enjoy beautiful weather while saving money and avoiding crowds. Many vacationers use this strategy to reserve larger homes, or to book an oceanfront vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during the Summer.
  • Property managers sometimes offer discounts or promotional rates for veterans. Remember to ask your host or property manager if special offers are available for your group.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners typically offer guests an option to obtain vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which generally will cost between 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed vacation time as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel or additional gasoline expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a bank account-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask the property owner for more information.
  • Look for your local Southport visitors guide upon checking in. If your rental doesn't have one, you can find them at local grocery stores and visitor centers. In addition to great local information, visitors guides contain money saving offers on local shops and restaurants.

Planning and choosing your prefectrental:

  • Choose a group leader, select your dates, and select a maximum budget.
  • Note the number bedrooms and what type of bedroom configuration your family requires. OCEANFRONT! West end of Holden Beach, NC - NEWLY RELISTED has 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our Southport vacation rental search.
  • Specific information about bedrooms and bed counts & types is regularly available online. If you don't see them listed, contact the property manager before you book the rental. Note that most listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which oftentimes includes sofa beds.
  • Some properties allow pets, but others do not. Allowable types of family pet, size and breeds may be restricted, and added charges may apply. Ask the property manager about allowable breeds and types before booking.
  • Are you visiting for a specific attraction or event? If so, use a map search to find nearby properties.
  • Proper accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for persons with disabilities. Make certain to ask about wheel chair entry, pool lifts and specialized equipment needs.

More tips for your visit:

  • Add the property manager's information to your phone. Understand and take a copy of arrival/departure procedures.
  • Ask questions. You may need instructions for a fireplace, intercom or thermostat. Contact your property manager. They are there to help! A brief text message prevents a lot of problems.
  • Protect the owner (and your stuff!) by locking and securing the home when you are gone, just like you would at home.
  • To make certain no damages are linked to your family's stay, note any problem areas when you arrive. Contact the property manager right away to record your findings. If there is a dispute, having the recorded issues and contact attempts will be valuable.
  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like disrespectful visitors bothering your home life. Use the golden rule for common sense. If they like you, locals might even recommend great restaurants and scenic spots you would have not otherwise known about!
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Locals can usually help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to launch your kayaks, have a great night out, or the best spots for bird watching?
  • Upon check-out, complete a final walk-through to make sure you didn't forget any personal items. Remember to check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden treasure. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
  • Did your group have a great stay? Many vacation rental websites make it easy for travelers to provide feedback. If your property and/or host was great, they would love to hear about it. If anything was amiss and they failed to correct it within reason, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make a note as part of your comments.

Victory Beach Vacations

Visitors who are on the hunt for the postcard-perfect vacation rental in the heart of the Carolina Beach or Kure Beach area will find an enticing selection and plenty of friendly customer service when they rent through Victory Beach Vacations. Based in Carolina Beach in the coastal Cape Fear region, Victory Beach Vacations has more than 100 vacation rentals in all shapes and sizes to ensure that every vacationing family can find their dream home away from home on the beach.   When you book your Cape Fear getaway with Victory Beach Vacations, the fun doesn’t end when you leave the beach, it continues with an array of privately-owned properties outfitted with all of the amenities needed for a fabulous beach vacation.   Jenna Lanier, General Manager, explains that her family first opened the rental and property management business in 2002. At the forefront of Victory Beach operations is Lanier’s mother, Caroline Meeks. Meeks is both the Broker in Charge and co-owner with husband, Buck Meeks, who manages the Field Services team with Lanier’s husband, Scott.   For nearly 20 years, the Victory Beach team has worked tirelessly to establish a network of top-of-the-line rental properties for Cape Fear visitors to enjoy. “As far as our properties go,” explains Lanier, “they are all updated, well-furnished and appointed. “We have always performed post-cleaning inspections and since the pandemic, have put freshly laundered duvets over all of the comforters between rentals.”   Lanier emphasizes how important the guests experience is “we strive to give our guests a relaxing, stress free, memorable vacation.” This emphasis on customer service has led to Victory Beach Vacations having a 4.8 Google rating with over 300 reviews by happy owners and guests. In addition to Victory Beach’s superior sanitation practices, the company offers properties for every type of visitor. Choose from luxury oceanfront houses and condos to more reasonbly priced 2nd row properties with oceanviews. Many properties include pools and hot tubs as well, perfect for outdoor entertaining, and many are dog friendly.   Lanier also notes that all properties are within walking or driving distance to Pleasure Island’s main attractions – Carolina Beach and Kure Beach. The former, as described by Lanier, is the more commercialized of the two destinations and features a boardwalk, outdoor dining options and a plethora of weekly activities including fireworks, live music, amusement park pop-ups, and movies under the stars. Kure Beach offers a more residential feel with its fishing pier, intimate restaurants and family favorite, North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher.More water fun awaits, too. “There is a harbor and a canal that feed into the intercoastal. We have several properties on the harbor so guests can bring their boat, kayak, [or jet ski] and travel between islands,” says Lanier.   A stay with Victory Beach Vacations is an annual pilgrimage for most. “A large percentage of guests are previous guests. Some even reserve the same property for the next year as they’re checking out,” Lanier says. “It’s almost like it’s their personal vacation home.”   Even before guests arrive at their vacation destination, the Victory Beach Vacations’ website greets them with a live beach cam and exquisite aerial footage of both Carolina and Kure Beaches. See for yourself by scanning the QR code and call Victory Beach Vacations at 910.458.0868 to book your Cape Fear getaway. Start making your memories today! —Grace Silipigni
