SUMMER PLACE - 38 Private Drive - This home, in the Summer Place community, features five bedrooms and four baths on two levels. Downstairs one bedroom has a queen, one bedroom has two doubles. Upstairs, two bedrooms have one queen in each, the fifth bedroom has one full size bed and a set of bunk beds. All bedrooms have TV's.
Conveniences include access to the Summer Place community pool, enclosed outside shower, two washers and two dryers, dishwasher, blender, iron/ironing board, microwave, and secure Wi-Fi. The dining table seats nine, and there are four stools at the bar for additional seating. There's seating on the deck to have your morning coffee, or spend a cool evening outside appreciating the ocean breeze. Private Drive is a direct and simple beach access street, and this home is a short walk from both the beach and the pool.
This property has keyless entry.
Although this home rents for partial weeks in the off season, before June 4 and after August 21, there's a three-nighttime minimum stay required. There's a golf cart outlet by the outside shower, and another one by the stairs. Our property has pillows and bedspreads. Sheets, towels, paper and soap products are not included. Located in Ocean Isle Beach, this vacation home is near the beach. While the natural beauty of Ocean Isle Beach and Holden Beach can be enjoyed by anyone, those looking for an activity can check out Cherry Grove Pier.

Finding your perfect rental:

  • Reserve your rental as early as possible. Rental schedules usually become available 12 months in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many families book their Summer vacation rentals during Winter holiday get-togethers. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • Summer months are high season in the Southport area. To get the best value, consider shifting your vacation to the Spring or Fall months. May, September, and even October offer excellent weather, fewer crowds, and reduced traffic. Many vacationers use this method to find larger homes within budget, or to reserve an oceanfront rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during the Summer.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective host if your vacationing group qualifies for a special rate.

  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Neighbors can often point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to find the best seashells, have a great night out, or the best spots for crabbing?
  • Just prior to departing, take a walk-through to make sure you haven't forget any personal items. Remember to check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden belongings. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
