We invite you to experience the tranquility and comfort of our three-bedroom, three-bath home located on the lush greens of Bald Head Island's golf course. Each room comes equipped with its own bathroom, ensuring your comfort and privacy. The heart of the home is a roomy open-concept living, dining, and kitchen area on the ground floor. The screened porch is the ideal spot to sip your morning coffee while taking in the gorgeous course vistas and local wildlife. One of the bedrooms, featuring a queen bed and an attached bathroom with a tub/shower combo, is located downstairs for painless accessibility. The upper level homes two more bedrooms. One is a ideal haven for kids with a bunk bed and an additional twin bed, while the other features a king bed, a generous dual-sink vanity, and a shower tub combo. This master room also has its very own serene balcony with inspiring vistas of the surrounding greenery. And for a bit of fun, feel complimentary to discover the island using either our 4 or 6 passenger golf cart.

About the Area

Bald Head Island is home to this vacation home. Bald Head Island Lighthouse and Oak Island Lighthouse are local landmarks, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at The Clubs at St. James and Southport Marina. North Carolina Maritime Museum at Southport and Bald Head Island Information Center are also worth visiting. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.

Getting the most from your rental home budget:

  • In the Southport area, The earlier you can book, the easier your search will be. The best properties are booked early. Reserving your rental property six to twelve months before your travel dates is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to plan and book your rental home.
  • Booking a rental in Fall or Spring months is an excellent way to save money on your vacation home. Rates are lower, and you'll find a larger selection of desirable homes. Many vacationers use this strategy to find larger homes within budget, or to book an oceanfront vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable during the high season.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective vacation rental company or host if your group qualifies for a price reduction or discount.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners often offer customers an option to add trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which commonly costs 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed trip time as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or additional gasoline expenses. Trip insurance might be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask your host for additional information.
  • Many management companies and vacation rental houses supply Southport area travel guides which often include special offers, either offered independently by local businesses, or through a relationship with the management company and the business itself.   • Are you bringing the family pet? Although a number of vacation homes allow pets or animals, guidelines and costs vary per property. Allowable pet type, breed, and size are often limited. Ask your host before booking, and study your agreement! Additional pet fees or might be applied to your invoice.
  • If there's an individual Southport beach you are enamored with, keep an eye out for properties that are either near by, or those that cater to your needs.
  • Proper accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for persons with disabilities. Confirm all necessary amenities are included before booking.

More considerations:

  • Add the property manager's phone number to your phone. Take a copy of check in/check out procedures.
  • Hosts are available to help! Feel free to ask any questions before, during, or after your stay.
  • Ensure you protect the property owner (and your stuff!) by locking and securing the home while you are gone, just like you would at home.
  • Document any damages to the property during check in, and immediately contact the host. We especially recommend e-mails and text messages, as they usually contain time stamps that can be helpful if damages are attributed to your stay.
  • Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking policies can make a stay more pleasurable. Be a good neighbor. You'll increase your chance to make local friends, and resident neighbors are often an incredible resource to find the best local beaches and restaurants.
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local! Neighbors can frequently help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to see a beautiful sunrise or sunset, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for fine dining?
  • On check-out day, take a walk-through to make sure you have not forget anything. Re-check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden items. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
  • Did you have a terrific vacation? Many vacation rental websites make it easy for customers to provide comments. If your property and/or property manager was terrific, they will likely appreciate your kind words. If anything was inoperable and they failed to address it within reason, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make it a point as part of your feedback.
