Located in the relaxing community of Island Park Cottages, this waterfront home places the best of Ocean Isle Beach at your fingertips. Here, on the edge of a modest community pond, you'll be a fast walk from a beach access point and Island Park's two seasonal swimming pools and fishing piers.

Come home from a day of swimming or body boarding to rinse off in the outdoor shower and relax on the ground-floor patio, where you'll find a gas grille, a picnic area, and a grassy lawn at the lagoon's edge. As you head upstairs, you'll be greeted by a cool blast of central air conditioning, a washer/dryer to take care of your swimsuits and beach towels, and an open great room with two-story ceilings. This room combines a full kitchen with stainless steel appliances, a breakfast bar, a dining room table, and a living room with ample seating and a sizable cable TV.

Spend the evening outside on the deck, where you can dine al fresco, sip coffee in a rocking chair, or simply admire the sunset view overlooking the pond.

The two unheated community pools are open from April 1 to October 31.
No fishing or swimming is allowed in the pond.

Parking notes: There is complimentary parking available for 3 cars.

Dock details: NO BOATS. There are 2 community docks within the Island Park Community. These docks are not for boat access, only for modest water sports (paddleboard, kayaks, etc).

• Summer months are high season in Ocean Isle Beach. To get the best value, shift your group's vacation to the Spring or Fall seasons. May, September, and October offer warm weather, less crowded beaches, and greatly reduced traffic.
• The sooner your group can book a vacation home, the better your selection will be. The best rental homes are booked very early. Reserving your vacation rental up to twelve months before your vacation dates is recommended. Holidays such as Christmas and Thanksgiving are excellent times to search for and reserve your rental home.

• Property management companies usually offer guests an option to obtain trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which generally will cost 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed vacation time as a result of personal medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or additional gasoline expenses. • Lock your vacation home while you are away. Protect the owner's property and your stuff!
• Double-check the property to make sure that you've packed all of your family's items at departure. Remember to check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden belongings. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
• Please make sure to walk through the rental one final time and scan for any damage. We suggest walking through with the host whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the manager is not available, take video of the rental to record its condition.
• Remember to leave a review! Property managers rely on great feedback to inspire future bookings. They'll be much obliged for your review. Alternatively, if something wasn't as described, other vacationing families will be thankful you shared your review and help them have the best future vacation. Please be objective.
