'Black Rose' is a four-bedroom home near South Beach. The main floor has a king master suite, a guest room with twin beds, and a additional room. Upstairs, there's another king bedroom and a kids' room with twin beds. The front porch and yard offer privacy, yet it's close to island amenities. About the Area

Located in Bald Head Island, this vacation home is near the beach. Bald Head Island Lighthouse and Oak Island Lighthouse are local landmarks, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at The Clubs at St. James and Southport Marina. North Carolina Maritime Museum at Southport and Bald Head Island Information Center are also worth visiting. Sticking to your rental budget:

• Summer months are the most expensive season in the Southport area. Booking in the Spring or Fall is one of our best tips for saving money on your vacation rental. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of suitable homes. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Southport vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday near the ocean? Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with family and friends at your favorite beach.
• Veterans and Active Duty Military members may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property manager if your group qualifies for a special rate.
• Booking websites frequently offer guests an option to obtain vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which costs 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any days missed as a result of medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or additional gasoline expenses. Note that most properties list the maximum guest capacity, which typically includes pull-out couches and bunk beds. You'll need to establish what is suitable for your vacation family.
• Are you bringing the family pet? Many vacation homes allow animals, but guidelines and restrictions apply. Type of pet, size and breeds may be limited. Ask your host before booking, and study your agreement thoroughly! Additional pet fees or charges might be applied to your agreement.
