Welcome to Sheltering Oaks, a relaxing 3BR/3BA getaway located beneath ancient live oaks and sabal palms on Bald Head Island. Tucked away on a peaceful cul-de-sac at the end of a private driveway, this home offers privacy, comfort, and the ideal setting for a calming island escape.
Just a short walk to the beach (under ¼ mile) and the Maritime Market (about ⅓ mile), you’ll appreciate both convenience and serenity.

The Magic of Bald Head Island
Accessible only by passenger ferry and complimentary of cars, Bald Head Island is a rare coastal treasure. Spend your days on pristine beaches, climb the historic Old Baldy Lighthouse, bicycle beneath maritime forest canopies, or savor waterfront dining overlooking the marina. Once you visit, you’ll want to return again and again.
**There is an external security camera on the premises, however it is turned off while guest are staying.
Also please note that there are wild animals on the island. It is not uncommon to see deer, turtles, frogs, toads, coyotes, snakes, and even alligators. Please be respectful of the wildlife and be sure to keep your trash in the designated locked trash receptacles!

Located in Bald Head Island, this vacation home is next to a golf course and near the beach.
