Upper level condo. The condo has 2 bedrooms. There is an additional loft that that can be used as a bedroom and can sleep up 2 or can be used as a TV room or game area. There is a master bedroom with private bath and a guest bedroom with full bath in hall. Queen beds in the master and guest room. 2 twin beds in the loft. Kitchen outfitted for cooking like home. 2 decks both with tables and chairs. Flat screen TV's in living room and loft. The dining table sits 6 but there is also seating for 4 at the kitchen eat in bar. 4 person golf cart for use. Adult and kids's bicycles, beach chairs, beach toys, and body boards in garage for your use.
We bought this condo in May 2013. We have replaced and refreshed nearly everything inside including linens, beds, towels, all kitchenware, numerous pieces of furnishings and lamps, sliding doors and 1-4 pass golf cart.

About the Area

Located in Bald Head Island, this condo is near the beach. Bald Head Island Lighthouse and Old Brunswick County Jail Museum are local landmarks, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Kent Mitchell Nature Trail and The Clubs at St. James. North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher and North Carolina Maritime Museum at Southport are also worth visiting. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.

Get the most from your budget:

  • The earlier you can book a rental home, the easier your search will be. The most desirable properties are reserved very early. Booking your vacation home six - twelve months before your vacation dates is recommended. Holiday gatherings are excellent times to plan and book your vacation home.
  • Summertime is the most expensive season in coastal NC. Book your Southport vacation in the Spring or Fall to get the benefit of beautiful weather while saving money and avoiding crowds.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property manager or host if your family qualifies for a special rate.
  • Booking websites frequently offer renters an option to add vacation insurance protection.   • Record a video to document the condition of the property.
  • After your trip, leave a review! Property managers rely on great ratings to inspire more bookings. They'll be thankful for your review. Alternatively, if something wasn't right, other vacationers will be thankful you shared your experience and help them have the best future vacation. Be fair with your review. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the owner could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded expeditiously to remedy it.
