All guests must sign an Affordable Generous Properties rental agreement and also submit a copy of their Drivers License to Affordable Giant Properties. Also, the renter must be 25 years of age or older. Affordable Enormous Properties will cancel the reservation if you are under the age of 25 and or a local.

All cancellations incur a $150 Cancellation Fee, the Security Deposit Waiver, and the Booking Fee

When to go & When to book:

  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months in Sunset Beach. Reserving a rental home in the Fall or Spring shoulder seasons is a good way to save on your vacation home. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a larger selection of desirable properties. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to reserve an oceanfront vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable during the Summer.
  • The sooner your group can reserve a vacation rental, the easier your search will be. The most desirable vacation homes are booked early. Booking your rental property up to 12 months before your vacation dates is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to search for and book your vacation rental.
  • Some property managers offer promotional rates for active duty military and veterans. It's always a good idea to check with your host or property manager to see if special discounts are available for your group before you book.
  • Property managers frequently offer guests an option to obtain trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which costs 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed days as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as evacuation costs, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or additional fuel expenses. Trip insurance can be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your host for program terms and fees.
  • Look for your local Southport area magazine upon checking in. If your rental property doesn't have one, you can find them at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers. In addition to great information, visitor guide magazines have money saving offers on local accommodations, restaurants and tours.

Note that most listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which usually includes pull out couches in living rooms. You'll need to establish what is best for your vacation.
  • Visiting for a specific event or attraction? Use a map search to locate nearby properties.
  • Appropriate accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for guests that require the use of a wheelchair. Confirm all required amenities are available before booking.
