Savor all of the amenities Sea Trail has to offer, including three 18-hole golf courses, private beach parking at Sunset Beach, 3 outdoor swimming pools, and a exercise center with a yoga/pilates studio and sauna. The resort is also home to a lighted driving range, lighted tennis and pickleball courts, multiple practice greens, outdoor grilles, a bocce court and horseshoe pit, and multiple eateries for you to visit.

This roomy 1st floor unit has 4 beds (2 queens and 2 fulls) and 2 full baths to comfortably host up to 8 people. No need to carry your golf bag up flights of stairs! It also features generous natural light, fast and reliable WiFi, central AC and heat, a washing machine and dryer, a dishwasher, one full kitchen and one kitchenette, 2 Keurig coffeemakers, 2 blenders, and 3 brand new intelligent TVs. Strategies to get the perfect vacation rental experience:

Finding your perfect rental:

  • Summertime is the most expensive season in the Southport area. Book your rental in the Spring or Fall to enjoy warm weather while saving money and avoiding crowded roads, restaurants, and activities.
  • Book your vacation home as soon as possible. Rental schedules generally become available twelve months in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many groups book their Summer rentals during Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Eve gatherings. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • Some property management companies offer rate reductions for veterans and active duty military. Ask your host or property manager if discounts are available for your family before you book.
  • Booking websites usually offer their guests an option to purchase vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which commonly will cost between 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed vacation time as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or extra fuel expenses. Trip insurance might be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your host for details.
  • Many management companies supply Southport area travel guide magazines which include money-saving deals, either offered directly by local businesses, or by way of a relationship with the management company and the business itself. You can also find Southport visitors guide and coupon books at local gas stations and shopping centers.

Choosing the best rental in the Southport area:

  • First and foremost, have your family decide on a vacation week and a spending budget.
  • Decide how many bedrooms and what type of bedroom configuration your family requires. Surf & Turf ??????????????? — 1st Floor Sunset Beach Entire Condo on the 17th Green has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
  • Specific information regarding bedrooms and bed sizes & counts is usually accessible online. If you don't see them listed, reach out to the property owner before you reserve the vacation home. Note that most listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which often includes pull-out couches and bunk beds.
  • Are you looking for unique amenities? Most websites include search filters with amenity lists. Amenity filters help you quickly remove less-optimal properties.
  • Suitable accessibility can make or break a vacation for guests with disabilities. Remember to confirm all required amenities are available before booking
  • Do your family pets travel with you? Although a number of vacation homes allow pets or animals, guidelines and costs vary per property. Type of pet, size and breeds may be limited. Make sure to ask before booking, and study your rental agreement! Additional fees or costs might be applied to your contract.

Advice for a smooth stay:

  • Store the host's information in your smartphone.
  • To make sure damages are not linked to your family's visit, note any problem areas during arrival. Make contact with the host immediately to relay any pre-existing damages. If there is a dispute, having the recorded problems and contact attempts will be useful.
  • Ask questions. You may want instructions for a garage door opener, stereo or washer/dryer. Contact your owner. They are there to help! A brief phone call prevents quite a few issues.
  • Be respectful. Frequently, surrounding homes are filled by local residents. Respecting noise limits and parking regulations is the right thing to do.
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Residents can usually point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to enjoy a steak with a view, have a great night out, or the best spots for fishing?
  • Keep your rental home locked while you are away! Don't let burglars ruin your trip.
  • When it's time to leave, take a walk-through to confirm you didn't forget any personal items. Remember to check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden treasure. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Go through the rental one final time and look for damages to contents or the property itself. We advise walking through with the property manager whenever you can. If the manager is not available, take video of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
  • Leave a review! Property owners rely on great reviews to compel future reservations. They'll be thankful for your feedback. Alternatively, if something went awry, other vacationers will appreciate that you share your feedback and help them have the best future vacation. Be fair with your review. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the manager had any control over the issue, and if so, whether they responded quickly to fix it.

Victory Beach Vacations

Visitors who are on the hunt for the postcard-perfect vacation rental in the heart of the Carolina Beach or Kure Beach area will find an enticing selection and plenty of friendly customer service when they rent through Victory Beach Vacations. Based in Carolina Beach in the coastal Cape Fear region, Victory Beach Vacations has more than 100 vacation rentals in all shapes and sizes to ensure that every vacationing family can find their dream home away from home on the beach.   When you book your Cape Fear getaway with Victory Beach Vacations, the fun doesn’t end when you leave the beach, it continues with an array of privately-owned properties outfitted with all of the amenities needed for a fabulous beach vacation.   Jenna Lanier, General Manager, explains that her family first opened the rental and property management business in 2002. At the forefront of Victory Beach operations is Lanier’s mother, Caroline Meeks. Meeks is both the Broker in Charge and co-owner with husband, Buck Meeks, who manages the Field Services team with Lanier’s husband, Scott.   For nearly 20 years, the Victory Beach team has worked tirelessly to establish a network of top-of-the-line rental properties for Cape Fear visitors to enjoy. “As far as our properties go,” explains Lanier, “they are all updated, well-furnished and appointed. “We have always performed post-cleaning inspections and since the pandemic, have put freshly laundered duvets over all of the comforters between rentals.”   Lanier emphasizes how important the guests experience is “we strive to give our guests a relaxing, stress free, memorable vacation.” This emphasis on customer service has led to Victory Beach Vacations having a 4.8 Google rating with over 300 reviews by happy owners and guests. In addition to Victory Beach’s superior sanitation practices, the company offers properties for every type of visitor. Choose from luxury oceanfront houses and condos to more reasonbly priced 2nd row properties with oceanviews. Many properties include pools and hot tubs as well, perfect for outdoor entertaining, and many are dog friendly.   Lanier also notes that all properties are within walking or driving distance to Pleasure Island’s main attractions – Carolina Beach and Kure Beach. The former, as described by Lanier, is the more commercialized of the two destinations and features a boardwalk, outdoor dining options and a plethora of weekly activities including fireworks, live music, amusement park pop-ups, and movies under the stars. Kure Beach offers a more residential feel with its fishing pier, intimate restaurants and family favorite, North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher.More water fun awaits, too. “There is a harbor and a canal that feed into the intercoastal. We have several properties on the harbor so guests can bring their boat, kayak, [or jet ski] and travel between islands,” says Lanier.   A stay with Victory Beach Vacations is an annual pilgrimage for most. “A large percentage of guests are previous guests. Some even reserve the same property for the next year as they’re checking out,” Lanier says. “It’s almost like it’s their personal vacation home.”   Even before guests arrive at their vacation destination, the Victory Beach Vacations’ website greets them with a live beach cam and exquisite aerial footage of both Carolina and Kure Beaches.
